This is a precious downtown spot for coffee! I popped in while in the area for work and was delighted. The two employees were super friendly and helpfully had a turkey and provolone croissant and it was so fresh and delicious. I wish I lived closer. I pass through here on I-49 regularly and this may be a new detour when I need a pick-me-up in my drive!
Absolutely LOVE Java Square. They have the best drinks and food, and the vibes are always perfect. Great place to come study or read a book, but can also be great to have coffee with a friend and chat. Zoe the barista is also super sweet, very knowledgeable and welcoming. Free limited parking on the side or in front of this cute corner shop. Businesses that offer well-crafted coffee are extremely limited in this town so if you’re passing through this is worth the drive—-plus there is a courthouse across the street that has beautiful landscaping, local artists’ artwork with a Louisiana flair, murals and statues.
